Matterhorn/Breuil-Cervinia Italy 2014 Photos
We visited the Matterhorn/Breuil-Cervinia during Feb 2014. Weather conditions were overcast, cloudy and snow for most of the trip, and not conducive to photos for the most part. Skiing/snowboarding conditions were great. We had an hour or so of sun and mostly clear skys Sun morning so I was able to take a photo of the Matterhorn. The other times the mountain was clothed in clouds. We stayed at the Hotel lo Stambecco on the Plan Maison at 2500 meters. It is possible to cross from Italy into Switzerland and vice versa at the top of the ski resort, however, unfortunately, this was closed during our trip due to weather and avalanche conditions.
